In 1977, Pappy brewed the first batch of Brawndo Draft in the bed of his truck. It was legal in Texas only. It got around anyway.
When his son took Brawndo national, Pappy kept the truck, and the recipe. Brawndo Draft is still aged in a truck bed, one batch at a time. That is why there are limited batches.
